Lol liberals. As if there is anything that doesn't cause them anxiety and conflict.

Speaking of derangement. My cousin helped us out at a big catering yesterday. She was asking about our fiance visa, and I was telling her about the process, paperwork, and wait. I also told her my fiance has been denied a tourist visa to the US twice to visit family in the US. That was when she went on an anti-Trump tirade. I listened for about five minutes before telling her the denials were under Obama.

i feel like most elected officials, especially presidents, will cause anxiety in some percentage of the population. why should trump be different?Foo wrote:https://www.politico.com/magazine/story ... sts-221305

I am not a psychologist, nor do I have such an illness. I don't recall such outbreaks under Obama.zombie wrote:i feel like most elected officials, especially presidents, will cause anxiety in some percentage of the population. why should trump be different?Foo wrote:https://www.politico.com/magazine/story ... sts-221305

Re: Yup, no problems here...
Is Foo joking? I remember a lot of conservatives afraid that Obama would come for their guns, anxious to death about that. It never happened, on a side-note, but the anxiety was there. I remember it clearly.

yeah w. bush is where it seemed to start getting bad. or could just be that i was aware of it for the first time.
Re: Yup, no problems here...
I bet you don't remember any of that. I bet you remember liberals stating that is why. I manage a gun club kitchen as part of the food business, and literally the only thing they were worried about was certain types of guns being banned, which was real and discussed. There was zero panic.Jigsaw wrote:Is Foo joking? I remember a lot of conservatives afraid that Obama would come for their guns, anxious to death about that. I do believe the spawning of the internet changed a lot of things. Making a citizens arrest of the cabinet members and shit is pretty crazy. In the past, it would not have been a thing to do because you would not get attention from it.zombie wrote:yeah w. bush is where it seemed to start getting bad. or could just be that i was aware of it for the first time.

Being that he constantly pushed for gun control, wouldn't it make some sense that people with guns would discuss it?
Compare that to the totally illogical liberals on Trump and Roe v Wade. Republicans controlled all branches of government, and yet, no push for it.

the wide attention and globalization of regular people that the internet brought is probably a lot to do with it.Foo wrote:I do believe the spawning of the internet changed a lot of things. No push? Half the USP of B-Kav was his likely amenability to it.Foo wrote:https://www.politico.com/gallery/2015/0 ... rol-002064

I literally remember some conservatives literally worried that Obama was literally going to ban guns and take away their firearms, so you literally just lost that bet.Foo wrote:I bet you don't remember any of that. The left still want to take away guns. But they are also afraid of getting shot.Jigsaw wrote:Is Foo joking? You need to stop reading liberal lies. Show any facts that support that, rather than just wild speculation? Abortion is settled. You might see challenges against late term stuff, but only monsters don't see a problem with those procedures anyway.showa58taro wrote:No push? Re: Yup, no problems here...
they were worried about stupid laws, not complete bans. That was what Obama was discussing, two guns could be identical in function but look different and one would be banned and one not. They feared stupidity.Jigsaw wrote:I literally remember some conservatives literally worried that Obama was literally going to ban guns and take away their firearms, so you literally just lost that bet.Foo wrote:I bet you don't remember any of that. Re: Yup, no problems here...
I remember a shit ton of guys at work, at my shows, and on the internet (Facebook, Bengals forum, etc), saying that Obama and the Dems are not only trying to take guns from citizens, but they also had a fear of them enacting Marshall Law. Idiots are everywhere man. It's not just one side.Foo wrote:they were worried about stupid laws, not complete bans.
