Nobody cares about the current social climate when playing a game about an apocalypse or watching a movie that takes place in a galaxy far, far away.

Are there no social dynamics in a post-apocalyptic world or a galaxy far far away? Pretty sure there would be since they both still consist of people.

There was none of that nature in the first one. Now, living through phony wokeness, it's been injected into the second one. Not a fan. Won't be buying.

So, a sequel is going to address different things going on. Sequels do that. Just play the first game if you want everything to be exactly the same.

This was easily going to be the best selling game based on how successful and well-loved the first game was. Depending on how many people see the leaks is going to depend on how big of a hit they take. But nearly everyone is annoyed with this and not buying the game. My friend is going to buy it and he doesn't follow politics at all. He can't name our governor or the one before him. He won't let me spoil it, so I'll let him waste his money, but he's gonna be pissed. He's gonna be pissed his favorite character dies, and he's going to see the pattern of people injecting politics into his entertainment. It's happened with Supernatural, it's happened with his superhero movies, and now it's gonna happen with this game. This woke movement is only turning more people against it.

I talked about it. But yeah, they did, felt rushed, all that. I wasn't angry as some, but definitely such an epic build to a little "wah, wah, wah". Love the show, though, I think I solidified it being top 5, unless a rewatch somehow pushes to top 10. But's always going to be pretty tits for me.

Yeah it was definitely great. Even when it went off the rails, it was still unmissable television you couldn’t talk about enough. It’s going to be tough for HBO to find “the next one”. Game of Thrones feels like the last event television we might have.

Season 11 didn't interject politics too much compared to seasons 7-10 and it had the highest ratings and viewership. Supernatural has been on a steady decline since season 4/5. And rightfully so. The show started sucking before it got political.

If you want to look at wokeness affecting viewership, look no further than Supergirl. 90% of the audience stopped watching during or after the first season. It is the most woke show on the planet and the numbers reflect it.

I really liked the show. The last season was a peter out, but no where near the uproar people made it out to be. They rushed it in the writing, but the production for all the battles were pretty intense. There were only two episodes that season I was truly disappointed in (4 and 6), the rest I thought were either fine or good.

Curious about the books, but without an end in sight and apparently taking Martin too damn long, I'm worried getting into it only to be left hanging for more than a decade.
